As long as Mike Macdonald patrols the sideline, the Seahawks defense will remain among the NFL’s most feared units. That was the exact formula that delivered Seattle’s title: the defense sacked Patriots quarterback Drake Maye six times in the Super Bowl, applying constant pressure despite blitzing less frequently than almost any team in the league.

That relentless pass rush spells serious trouble for New England. The Patriots’ offensive line depth has been decimated by injuries throughout the summer, leaving them scrambling to patch things up just days before kickoff. Even the projected starting five struggled badly against Philadelphia’s pass rush during joint practices hardly a reassuring sign facing the league’s most aggressive defense.
